Ok well its been along time since i've blogged :) well here it goes:
Bethany is going to be five in about 2 weeks, In January she will start playing basketball thru the city and in January im also going to be signing her up for tball. I cant believe IWV baseball is now 70.00 a kid! I really dont think it was that much when i was helping to coach or playing! When bethany turns 8 i'll be switching her to Softball. The basketball season run Jan 4th thru March 6th. Baseball starts March 13 so we'll be busy for a while :) but its good for her! Also in March i'll register her for Kindergarten. She is very excited about christmas all she asked for was a Barbie bike, a swimming doll and the princess dress up box from walmart. She is doing really good in school and learning alot. she is learning how to write her name she knows how to write most of the letters but NEVER gets them in the right order LOL. All comes in time i suppose.
Hailey is now 3 yrs old and has started preschool, she loves going and getting on the preschool van. Her teacher really likes her and said she gets along good w/the other kids. She isnt old enough yet for city sports so she'll have to wait 2 more yrs! in the mean time she'll be on the sidelines cheering on big sister ;) She doesnt really get christmas yet so we still have to guess what she'd like :) we are hoping w/her being in school she progress much faster w/all the other kids around and maybe will become her own person. instead of trying to immitate Bethany so much.
Kylie is now 3 months old and is just doing soo good :) its so hard to imagine sometimes that she was sick at birth. She knows how to roll over...but she only does it when she wants to lol. She is on solid foods and does a good job of eating them. you really have to wait for her to be ready to eat for her to eat. Not one of those kids that will eat whenever you want them to. She can sit up if you practice with her on it. she is advancing much faster then the other kids did. I dont doubt she'll be up and moving by 9 months. My mom says i was walking then so who knows! but she doesnt seem to just wanna lay there...so that is good!
as for chris and i we are doing good...looking forward to moving into the new year! I hope that 2010 has WONDERFUL things in store for our family and those we love!
Next weekend we are off to knotts berry farm for our daughters 3rd & 5th birthday celebrations. We decided to do a big combined birthday party 4 them there. We are blessed to be having our families joining us :)
On the 27th of december we are having a small party @ my moms house with a clown there that paints faces, does a magic show and makes balloon animals. we won that @ one of chris's work parties!
Well i'll prolly post more after the new year cuz the next couple weekends and weeks are going to be busy for us!
Merry CHRISTmas & Happy 2010 New Year!

I know i havent been very good lately @ blogging but here is what we have been up to lately.
Chris's old company CSC was booted from the contract and he signed w/the new company which is amewas. We are hoping that at some point soon he'll be able to get a raise.
Which would be helpful as we have so many medical bills :( but oh well we have a beautiful girl that came out of those medical bills.
because of the job stuff we have canceled the BBQ. Im thinking what we will probaby do when he gets back to getting paychecks is just invite everyone to dinner somewhere. Everyone will pay for themself.
We are also planning on going to dinner 4 my birthday. Havent really chosen the place yet but we still have a few weeks b4 that happens anyhow!.
Kylie is doing great. She is almost 6 weeks old. @ her 3 week apt she weighed 8lbs. Im excited for her 2 month apt i'd love to see how much she is growing.
Bethany is about to be 5yrs old and she is so excited that around the end of this month im going to be signing her up 4 basketball and she'll be starting that in Jan.
Hailey is almost 3yrs old and Nov 30th she'll start preschool. She is groiwing fast & learning all kinds of new stuff!!!
If you havent taken time lately to check out our pics feel free to see the girls growing!
Welp take care and hope that you are doing swell!!!
oh as for chris & I we are just as good as b4 if not better!

Kylie Rene was born on September 2nd 2009 @ 12:36pm
She was 6lbs 13oz and was 20" long.
She came out and had some breathing problems and was taken by ambulance that evening to Loma Linda's Childrens Hospital NICU in San Bernardino.
Chris, his mom & the girls went down on thursday to get Kylie all checked in and ready to go for her stay there. We werent sure what was wrong with her but knew that the NICU would take good care of her.
On Friday i was released from the hospital and we drove down there. The social worker for the hospital called and got us a referal for the Ronald McDonald House and off we went.
The Ronald Mc Donald House got us a motel room for 10.00 a nite! This was such a wonderful help to us as we had planned on only going to see Kylie on the weekends cuz as we learned with Hailey its way to much money 4 us to get a motel room the whole time.
Kylie was release from the NICU on September 8th and we were able to bring her home!
She is the sweetest little baby in the world!!
bethany is the BEST big sister as all she wants to do is take care of her little sister, she loves to hold, feed and take care of her!
hailey is still getting use to the idea but has had no problems she loves her sister and is generally gentle with her.
Thanks to all who have helped us along this week's journey and those who have sent us well wishes!
Danielle & Chris!

Our Baby will be joining this world on:
Our Baby will be joining this world on:
Tuesday September 1st, 2009
The surgery is scheduled for: 9am.
It'll prolly take an hr or so for me to be out of recovery after the surgery.
After the baby is born Chris gets to do the fatherly duties and help out with all the check ups and baths etc. When he has gotten thru with that and the baby has a diaper on and you cant see any of the sex organs he'll have the blinds opened up...
as soon as he can he is planning on getting bethany & hailey and introducing them to the newest member of the Mouw family. After that is all done hopefully i'll be out of recovery and we'll have the 4 grandparents if all are present come into the room and we will proceed to announce the sex of the baby & the name.
***Very Important***
Please remember we are asking you dont feed or water the kids...
The girls are going to have special shirts on and even if you give the girls water they will dirty up the shirts. PLEASE DO NOT give them anything to eat or drink.. Also, No crayons, markers, pens, pencils or newspapers!
also we are working hard to break Hailey of this habbit of sticking her fingers in her mouth so if you see her doing that please tell her to stop and take her hand out of her mouth.
Thanks for your time and we look forward to seeing you @ the birth of our Baby!!!

Went to the dr on August 25th. He said the baby is doing great and so am i :) no signs of the past ailments that led to a premature baby!. He said he see's no problems with me making it to 38 weeks!!! So that being said he also said to call tomorrow morning *which is today* and schedule the c-section. But as it looks he is going to be doing it tuesday. Which is September 1st :) so i'll know more around 8am when I call and make the apt. We are soo excited!!!!
We are disappointed that our little bundle of joy will not be born on the 27th, or a monday, or after a holiday :) but we are overly joyed that our baby is coming out full term and will most likely be healthy!! WOOHOO
Ill blog a special post in a few hours when i have a for sure set in stone date & time!!

Every year on August 24th I gain another year of being cancer free. This year was super special cuz we celebrated my 10 years of being cancer free :)
I spent a LOVELY day of chillin @ home with my girls and I also took them to the park. After that we picked up Chris and went to a nice dinner @ Pizza Factory which lasted like 2hrs LOL Im not suprised though cuz dinner usually last that long with chris's family.
I had originally invited just our parents but my BFF keli wanted to come and how could i resist her!! LOL It was a lovely nite and im glad all those that did show up were there!!!
I look forth to another year!!

Week 37 ~ Month 10
Your Baby Week 37
Your baby is now considered full term. He weighs approximately 6.5 lbs (2950g) and his total length is about 21 inches (47cm). Your baby's crown to rump measurement is about 14 inches (35cm).
By now, your baby's head may have engaged into your pelvis.
You may feel that your baby occasionally has hiccups from his "practice breathing".
Though your baby is considered full term, he is still growing and developing both his body and his brain.
He is still laying down fat at a rate of more than half an ounce every day.
***This will be my last weekly baby update like this as i will be having the baby @ 38 weeks. Some where between Monday August 24th & Monday August 31st we will be having the baby. We go to the Dr on Tuesday August 25th @ 4:45pm and we will be then scheduling our Delivery. We will be talking to him about 3 possible days. Thursday 8/27 which of course is prime time LOL but also 8/28. We would love to do it on one of these days because then Chris wont have to use up all of his vecation time with me being in the hospital and he can be at home with me, the baby and our girls for the week he is taking off. Since its end of the year @ work he is only taking one week off. We decided he'd take 1 week off now and then 1 week off after things calm down at work. But with me being fresh out of surgery it would be helpful if he was home. I wont be allowed to drive and i'll need him to drive Bethany to school for that 1st week. And ofcourse if he doesnt want those 2 dates he'll schedule it for the 31st which is a Monday and the beginning our our 38th week!
We are excited and looking forward everyday to the new adventure that is ahead of us!***

Well it seems as though Im going to be an Aunt!! Its awesome!! Im excited to have some kind of biological attachment to one of the nieces or nephews. I hope that I get to have the oppertunity to know the little one that is coming. It also seems as though he is thinking of coming into town. I dont suppose i'll get to see him.
Im also super annoyed about the school bus right now. It picks up the little elementary school kids @ 6:30 am and doesnt drop off the kids til 8am. VERY frustrating especially since they have to sit on the bus with the high school students and junior high school students. I cant really complain much cuz she is only in preschool and not in the elementary school system. but if its that way next year when she is in Kindergarten then im going to complain about it.
so for now i have to take bethany to school every morning. Im not sure how this is going to work now once i have the baby and chris goes back to work b4 im allowed to drive or be able to lift hailey up into her car seat.

We had a Dr apt on 8/18 @ 445pm.
here is what went on..
The dr ordered a 24hr urine sample. He said if there is protein in my urine then he will deliver the baby If not then he will deliver the baby @ 38 weeks.
38 weeks is the 30th of August. We are going to talk to the dr about possibly doing it on the 27th or the 28th to be able have chris home with me after i get released from the hospital. Otherwise he'll be home for just a couple days with me after i get home. It'll be easier 4 me to get bethany off to school right after the baby comes home. Plus he'll have a chance to help me with the girls for a few days while i try to heal some.
so the end is near WOOHOO lol
We had a Ultrasound. He said the baby is growing gr8 and there is PLENTY of fluid in me.
The heart beat was 150.
The baby is no longer breach, but i knew that cuz i felt the baby flip over into the right position :) it was a weird feeling but neat LOL.
He said im still fully closed so that is cool.
so i guess for the next 24 hours i get to save my pee in the fridge LOL
chris says...I hope i dont mistake it for lemonade LOL

Bethany had her 1st Day of her 2nd year of preschool today!!!
She was so excited to go back to school!!! She loves going to the school with the swings :)
She wasnt much of a fan of the Pierce location it was hard to get her to wanna go to school.
Bethany was taken by the bus to school and i just let her come home on the preschool van.

WOOHOO lol
tonight we have an ice cream social @ bethany 's preschool where we will talk to parents, teachers staff etc. We are really looking forward to it. but not looking forward to the ice cream social and we are tomorrow morning!!! Bethany gets to go back to school LOL :) I gave her the option of me walking her to the big school bus stop or taking her and dropping her off and she requested the big girls bus. So looks like she is getting that... hehehe I am so glad that she is going back to school. She loves it and has been missing it so much. She is really excited for November when hailey gets to start school with her. She has been asking me since summer school started pretty much when does she get to go back to the preschool with the swings :) Although im happy also kinda sad cuz after this year she moves up to the "big girls school" Its very pleasing to watch them grow up but sad at the same time. She is happy to be going to school but wishes she could have moved to kindergarten with her friends that moved up. We keep telling her that alot of her friends stayed behind with her to and not to worry bout it.
Also tomorrow we have a dr apt @ 4:45pm. I am excited about the dr apt but nervous @ the same time as my bp has been high. I really dont want another one like bethany where they just took her out that day. I'd like to have a couple days atleast to prepare for it. We will post info as soon as we know whats going on.
Take care and i'll blog tomorrow :) pics of bethany on her 1st day of the 2009-2010 school year! and info on the dr apt!
We also have a dr apt for Hailey for Monday Aug 24th @ 9am. She'll get her 2yr old shots and her 3yr old check up. I'll get her physical form for preschool filled out then by the dr and she'll be ready to go except 4 the fact that she isnt 3 yet LOL

Week 36
Your Baby Week 36
Your baby weighs about 6 lbs (2750g) and measures about 20.7 inches (46cm) in length. Crown to rump measurement is about 13.5 inches (34cm).
Your baby now feels lower in your pelvis.
Your baby continues to grow, kick, and move about.
Your baby's face has filled out and the cheeks now look plump and full. Fat baby cheeks are caused by fat deposits, but also by powerful sucking muscles which your baby has been honing by sucking her thumb.
Your baby's skull is firm, but it is not hard as it needs to give a little when it is passing through the birth canal.
Your baby's head is probably down by now, but about three percent of babies present in a breech (bottom down) position. Your doctor may try to turn your baby around if it is in a breech position by putting pressure on your abdomen. This is called external cephalic version (ECV) and is effective in about 50% of cases. If your baby is in a breech position, ask your doctor about what your options are for the birth. You may or may not require a cesarean delivery.

Week 35
Your Baby Week 35
Your baby now measures about 20.25 inches (45cm) in total length and weighs around 5.5 lbs (2550g). Crown to rump measurement is about 13.2 inches (33cm).
He continues to grow and fatten up, especially in the shoulder area, and kicks regularly.
The fine lanugo hair that covered your baby is shedding, though some may still be present when your baby is born.
Your baby's eyes are blue, though this may change soon after birth or much later after birth.
Your baby's fingernails are growing. They already reach the tips of his fingers and they may even look quite long and pointy by the time he is born. Your baby may even have some scratch marks from scratching his face with his fingernails.
Your baby is probably feeling quite cramped right now and his movements are restricted by his growing size.
***This was Bethany's Gestational Age***
This is where we were when Bethany was born. Its really neat to be able to say hey we've passed our 1st born's weeks LOL
We are so excited to keep moving forward. Now we are pretty sure that we are not going to be having our kid b4 37 weeks. We have our next ob apt @ 36 weeks. and if he see's a problem he will most likely schedule it for the following week.
My bp has been up and chris and i are having me take it easy. Even though the dr said he isnt worried because im not swelling or spilling protein, but in our mind we didnt with either of our other kids either.
We'll keep this blog updated with our weekly apts!

We had a dr apt 8/4 @ 4:00
My urine was good..no protine and no sugar.
The nurse who takes my blood pressure on my right side said it was 122/82.
when i take my blood pressure on my left side it always comes out high lately.
when I take my bp @ home w/my right arm it also comes out low. Even if I have taken my bp on my left side and had it come out high.
The dr told me to come back in 2 weeks and to bring my machine and we'll see how things
stack up.
I'll be 36 weeks when he see's me again.
We are excited about having our little baby in our arms and giving "baby" a name.
The ultrasound machine was broken so we didnt get to see the baby but we did get to hear the heartbeat and it was in the 150's.
I'll post more after my next apt. Im hoping to have a date 4 the C-Section.

Week 34
***some info on my health***
Even though i havent had any problems yet with my bp i periodically have been taking my blood pressure. There have been some occasions when its been slightly high and i've relaxed and its quite quickly gone down. But on thursday it was high and when i'd retest it was still high. My bp stayed up Thursday and on with a few occasions of it being down. I saw the dr @ walmart on saturday and I had told him about my bp and that he'd see me on tuesday to. I told him Im trying like hell to last 3 more weeks and he said... If you cant you cant. so when i go to the dr on tuesday we'll see what he does about my bp.
Its been hanging from 145+/90+
Keep me & my baby in your thoughts please that we can last 3 more weeks and give us 37 weeks gestation!!!
Your Baby Week 34
Your baby weighs almost 5 lbs (2250 g) and is 12.8 inches (32cm) from crown to rump and about 19.8 inches (44cm) long.
If your baby were born now, she would be considered "pre-term" rather than premature. This distinction is based on fetal maturity, particularly the maturity of the fetal lungs. A pre-term baby, unlike a premature baby, is likely to have well-developed lungs and is less likely to need intensive care.
Your baby is surrounded by a red glow when sunlight shines on your belly and may be aware of this as she is able to differentiate between light and dark.
Your baby's hair is getting thicker, though it may be a different color when she is older.
She is currently shedding her lanugo, the fine downy hair that previously covered her body.
More vernix, the waxy coating that protects your baby's skin while submerged in amniotic fluid, is building up.
Your baby's adrenal glands are producing more steroid hormone, the androgen-like hormone that indirectly aids your milk production. Your baby is currently producing ten times more of this hormone than a normal adult and the adrenal glands are currently the same size as those of an adolescent. They will shrink after birth.
Your baby is laying down bone. To do this, she will draw calcium from you.
Your baby has taste buds and it has been suggested that she can taste and develop tastes for flavors found in the amniotic fluid, particularly flavors that you eat on a regular basis.

Week 33 ~ month 9
Your Baby Week 33
Your baby now weighs about 4.4 lbs (2000g) and measures about 12 inches (30cm) from crown to rump and about 19.4 inches (43cm) in total.
Now that your baby is running out of room in your womb, you can probably see your belly moving as your baby kicks.
Your baby may dream as he sleeps and when awake he may be alert, listening, feeling and even seeing dim shapes.
Though your baby is still inside the womb, he is learning all the time as billions of neurons are making connections.
Your baby is probably in his birth position by now.
Your baby's lungs may be sufficiently developed by now, though if he were born now, he would probably still need an incubator to stay warm.
**This is where Hailey's Growth and maturity was**

Week 32
Your Baby Week 32
Your baby's total length is 18.9 inches (42cm) and she is perfectly formed! She measures about 11.6 inches (29cm) from crown to rump. All she has to do is fill out more. Your baby weighs almost 4 pounds (1800g). If she were to be born now, she would still need to be incubated as she has insufficient fat stores to keep it warm.
Your baby can distinguish between light and dark.
Your baby can hear the outside world quite well now, and can also hear the sounds of your heartbeat, your digestion and the blood rushing in the umbilical cord. The pitch of women's voices are in the range babies are most able to hear over all the internal background noise. Your baby is already familiar with your voice and will be able to recognize it after birth.
1 more week til we beat where we were with Hailey. 3 more til we beat where we were with Bethany...and we are looking to hold on to 5 more weeks of being pregnant. When we visit the dr next we are going to talk to him about Aug 27th for the date of the c-section or aug 31st. 27th will put us @ 37 weeks and 5 Days. Aug 31st will put us @ 38 weeks 2 days. Ofcourse we will keep you informed!!

We went to the Inland Empire 66ers game last nite! We love going to the games on friday nights as its 2.00 to get in and sit on the lawn, $.50 to eat hot dogs & quesadillias, $2.50 for a beer & pop. Last night was Manny bobblehead day and we got a pretty cool bobblehead. We like the lawn seating the girls can kinda stand up and move a little bit and are not stuck sitting down in the seats. The bad thing is if you want to get the free gift they give away you kinda have to start lining up @ 3pm or you wont get it! LOL so when you have a 7pm game that is along time out in the heat! But we managed it really well and the girls handled the heat very good!!! proud of the girls and chris 4 standing in line for 4 hrs to save our spot!!! If you ever go try the bacon wrapped hotdogs & the corn on the cob!!!

Week 31
Your Baby Week 31
Your baby now weighs about 3.5 lbs (1600g) and measures about 18 inches (40cm) in total and about 11.2 inches (28cm) from crown to rump.
Your baby's increasing size means that she has less room to move around in your uterus.
Your baby could already be moving into the head-down position.
Your baby's lungs are maturing and their lining, which prevents air sacs from collapsing, is growing. This lung development means that your baby would have a much greater chance of survival if he were born prematurely.
About 16 fluid ounces of blood are flowing through the wall of your uterus to the site of the placenta, though your blood never mixes with your baby's blood. It is separated by the placental barrier which is a very thin wall. Water, nutrients and waste are exchanged across this barrier at a rate of 0.3 fluid ounces per second.
Your baby swallows amniotic fluid and urinates.
Your baby's ears are sufficiently developed to hear and recognize your voice, the voices of other family members as well as familiar musical tunes.

this saturday is going to be our 5th anniv.
We are having a family bbq and playing in our pool :) We are going to bbq some ribs, baked taters, corn on the cob, and have some baked beans. Then after the sun starts to go down or maybe already down depending how awake the kids are we are going to have a bonfire and have some smores. Roasting marshmellows is one of the girls favorite things to do and chris and i love having a bonfire and sitting next to it chatting.
One thing about chris and I is that we LOVE to talk LOL
So 5 yrs ago Chris and I got married in the heat of the day and had a lovely reception @ his parents house. The reception was taken up for us by pictures and we didnt get much chance to visit with our guests. On our 10 yr anniv we are planning on having a big party as a reception for our wedding where we get to dance, eat, drink and have fun with our friends, loved ones and our children!
Since chris and i were able to be friends before we became a couple we were able to have a good steady foundation for a long marriage. When we chose to be boyfriend & girlfriend we were bestfriends and our friendship/relationship grew from there. I literally got to marry my bestfriend and 5 years later he is still my bestfriend!!!
I feel very lucky to have him as my partner in life and the father to my children!
Ty for the last 5yrs of marriage and 7 of our relationship! I look forward to many many more years!

Yesturday my mom and her family burried one of their sisters. My aunt Candy. She was a wonderful lady who is going to be missed!
Today they burried Michael Jackson which really had no affect on me personally i just thought i'd mention it LOL
Im tired of death...i'd like it if we could take a brake from it for a while. In Jan we lost my friend Kevin. In March we lost Grandpa K....In May We lost Poppo, In june we lost Chewy our dog and in July we lost my Aunt Candy...So in the 1st 7 months of this year we have lost 5 people/animals that we loved...I think we need a break from it.
We did have a birth in March and will be having one in the next couple months.
We have been going thru everything in haileys room and I am about to move on to the closet. Im getting rid of everything the kids dont need that have been staying in hailey's room.
Once im done with that hopefully this week i'll be done and then payday we can buy some paint and repaint haileys walls.. She found some crayons and drew all over them. So we are going to repaint the walls white. and some other colors..to be determined :) after we know the sex of the baby.
I'd like to post what our plans are for the next few months so that people can see when we have our plans for so there is no conflicts and we dont have to change or cancel our plans.
Well i think i've bugged you guys enough LOL :)

Week 30..7 -10 weeks left!
Your Baby Week 30
Your baby now weighs about 3 lbs (1400g), measures about 10.8 (27cm) inches from crown to rump and measures about 17 inches (38cm) from head to toe.
Your baby is probably aware of your Braxton Hicks contractions, which you experience regularly, even when you do not notice them.
By this time, your baby is very active and you feel its movements frequently.
Your baby is still practicing breathing movements which have now become rhythmic.
Sometimes your baby gets the hiccups when she accidentally swallows amniotic fluid the wrong way.
On an ultrasound, you can see your baby's activities quite easily.
Your baby has periods of rest and periods of activity now. Your baby is probably most active when you are trying to rest.\
Baby is growing plumper and beginning to control its own body temperature. Eyebrows and eyelashes are fully developed, and hair on the head is getting thicker. Head and body are now proportioned like a newborn's. Hands are now fully formed and fingernails are growing. Your uterus is about four inches above your navel, and it's hard to believe you still have about 10 weeks to go. You may be feeling more discomfort in your pelvis and abdomen now and you can expect to gain about a pound a week from now until delivery.

LOL...the fireworks were so pretty and we all LOVED the day...here is a link of the pics :)

Week 29~ month 8
Your Baby Week 29
Your baby now weighs about 2.7 lbs (1.2kg), measures about 10.4 inches (26cm) from crown to rump, and is around 16.7 inches (42cm) long. He is plumper and rounder, and his head and body are beginning to be in proportion.
Your baby now uses all of his senses. He can see, taste, recognize touch and the sound of your voice.
During the last trimester, your baby will receive antibodies from you through your placenta that will provide immunity from many diseases.
Your baby's adrenal glands are producing androgen-like substances. Androgens are normally male sex hormones, but in late pregnancy, when they reach the placenta they are turned into estrogen which in turn stimulates the production of prolactin in your body. Prolactin is the hormone needed for milk production. In this exchange, your baby is beginning to stimulate milk production in your breasts so that when he is born there will be food waiting for him.

Wow im so glad its a flex friday!!! I get to relax more today and lean on chris more...My lower part of the belly has really been hurting lately, it'll be one thing i talk to the doc about when i go in on monday along with feeling somewhat dizzy lately i'll get moments of dizziness!
I am bummed that Michael Jackson died! I loved his music!!! He was an amazing artist!
My mom and my cousin Robbie have left for Michigan. Tueday night my brother got a call from my family back in MI and he was told my aunt candy is dying. They didnt call me cuz they didnt want my blood pressure to rise. I understand they were concerned with my health and the health of the baby but i worried all night long cuz my big brother doesnt call me. I told chris when i got off the phone with him "who died" not knowing my aunt is sick...I really feel bad about that. Anyhow on the phone with mom now she says that my aunt candy is refusing to eat now and my aunt judy only thinks she is hanging on for my mom to arrive so they can say good bye. God i wish i could be there with her!
So I go to the dr on Monday @ 4:15pm and im looking forward to hearing baby mouw's heartbeat! I'll post the info of the dr apt after words....well im dizzy and on the verge of tears after talking to my mom so im going to get going!!! take care!!

Week 28
Your Baby Week 28
Your baby weighs about 2.5 lbs (1.1kg) and is about 10 inches (25cm) from crown to rump and 15 inches (38 cm) long from head to toe.
At this time, the baby has tastebuds which allow it to distinguish between sweet, sour and bitter tastes.
Brain tissue and brain development increases at this time as your baby grows the folds and grooves needed for a developed brain.
Eyebrows and eyelashes are probably present and the hair on your baby's head is growing longer.
Your baby's body is filling out, getting a bit fatter as fat deposition continues, but it is still somewhat red and wrinkled.
Your baby is big enough for his presentation to be determined. That is, your caregiver can probably tell how your baby is oriented in your uterus. He may be breech (bottom down) or head first. If your baby is in a breech position now, there is no need to worry as there is still plenty of room and time for your baby to change positions.
Your baby can feel pain and respond to it in the same way as a full term baby.

Week 27 ~3rd Trimester
Your frisky fetus is on another growth spurt, shooting up half an inch this week to measure about 14 inches from head to toe. She weighs roughly 2 1/2 pounds, and will gain approximately half a pound each week for the next 10 weeks. The average full-term baby weighs about 7 1/2 pounds and measures from 18 to 20 1/2 inches, but many normal, healthy babies fall outside this range. Unless your practitioner has told you of a potential problem, it's safe to assume that your little one is right on track.

Day 2
Day 2 Blog June 9,2009
so day 2 we woke up @ 6am and the girls ate some breakfast. We bought some cereal boxes so that we didnt have to eat out every morning. I think it was like 8am we loaded up the van and decided it was time to get on the road. It was such a beautiful day clouds in the sky and it was a nice 60 something outside. We got gas in Reno @ the shell station for 2.75 a gallon. Around 11am we arrived in susanville where chris again took over the driving which is good because i dont like driving around the mountains and he does. We went to burney falls it was my 1st time there. OMG the waterfall is sooooo perdy. i really enjoy the pitstop there! We got there about 12:30. We enjoyed a nice soft served ice cream and got back on the road about 2:00pm. We got to Weed about 3:00 and it was pouring down rain, no thunder but um the rain was cool i even think there was some lightening. about 51 minutes later we crossed over into the great state of oregon and got to our motel @ the days inn around 4:30pm. Our room is pretty awesome. Now chris is sitting watching the laker game and im blogging LOL. Dairy queen for dinner.
so day 2 we woke up @ 6am and the girls ate some breakfast. Day 1
DAY 1 BLOG :) JUNE 8,2009
We were all up by like 6am so we were able to get on the road kinda early. We left about 7:50 am, the girls started off the trip watching Wall E. I think we ran into road work about 5 times before we even got to Bishop. There was this really annoying lady driving this little red car who was like on my tail from the 395 / 178 exit to Bishop. We got to Bishop around 10:00am and had lunch @ Carls Jr/Green Burrito. I think it was close to 11:00am when we left the Carls Jr/Green Burrito. Headed to Carson City Nv for the night. Again it seemed like we hit so much road construction and it was like 35 on the highway for a while during all the road constructions. When we left Bishop the girls decided they wanted to watch Thumbalina. Oh some where after Bishop b4 Mammoth we stared Hitting the rain and realized the windshield wipers didnt work. UGH LOL We were finally able to find an auto parts store that is where we paid about 44.00 for 2 whipers OMG LOL. its about 12:30 now the price of gas up here is 3.69 a gallon. About 1:30 we crossed the Nevada state line and price of gas dropped to 2.65 a gallon..hmm cali is a tad bit over priced LOL.It was 53 out and rainy and cold and windy....not what you would expect for the 2nd week of June LOL. Amazing the rain was over by Carson City and the temp jumped up to 78 LOL. We got checked into our room and got everything for the night all set up and about 4pm we left to find dinner. We had dinner at a pub called the Firken & Fox.. WE really LOVED that place...About 7:30pm it started thunder and lightening and pouring rain. its 8:43pm right now and we have a flashflood warning and I can believe it! LOL the parking lot looked like it was going to flood. I think Hailey was passed out by 6:30pm. luckily she will sleep til like 8 am LOL hopefully bethany will to. She passed out about 8:45pm and and now im going to try and go to sleep since she is FINALLY asleep LOL but I dont sleep well @ other places and usually i take something to help me sleep and since im 26 weeks prego's today I cant!!! BLAH LOL so im going to try...good night and i'll blog more tomorrow!!

Week 26
There's an important development in your baby's lungs this week: They begin to secrete surfactant, a fatty substance that covers the inner lining of the air sacs and allows the lungs to expand normally so breathing can occur. Although it will be approximately 10 more weeks before the lungs are fully operational, the production of surfactant is an essential step in making the fetus viable outside the womb

Week 25~ Month 7
Your Baby Week 25
Your baby now weighs around 1.5 lbs (700g), and measures about 8.8 inches (22cm) from crown to rump, but this varies from baby to baby.
Your doctor should be able to hear your baby's heartbeat, using a stethoscope or Doppler ultrasound device. If your partner puts his ear right on your belly in the right position, he might even be able to hear it unaided if there is no background noise.
Your baby sleeps and wakes in a more regular pattern now. You may notice that your baby is particularly active when you are resting.
The center of your baby's bones are beginning to harden.
If your baby is a boy, the testes will start to descend into the scrotum now. If your baby is a girl, the vagina will begin to hollow out and mature now.
Your baby can make a fist now and may already have a preference for the right or left hand.
With modern medical technology, your baby would have a chance to survive if it were born now.

So last night around 8pm Chris's grandpa Mouw "poppo" passed away. He was almost 90 years old. I never really had the pleasure of knowing him. The whole time i've been in Chris's life has been basically living in the past, he had a stroke that wiped out all of his short term memory so the girls and myself never got to know him as chris remembers him. I feel for chris's dad, i cant imagine having to lose my dad, even though i know its going to happen one day. I really feel for his grandma cuz for the last 60 some odd years she has cared for and lived for this man. I cant imagine losing my husband. I wish we were not all sick right now.
On the other hand....we have a dr apt on friday @ 8am.
My girls are so independant. they get tired and put themselfs to bed. LOL hailey just goes off in her room when she is ready for a nap and goes to sleep, bethany gets herself off the bus and comes in the house and smiles hi mommy im home from school....so cute and sweet...ugh where does the time go

Week 24
Your Baby Week 24
Your baby is now about 8.4 inches from crown to rump (21cm) and weighs about 1.2 pounds (530g).
Your baby's face and body now look more like a full-term baby. She now looks close to how she will look at birth.
The eyes, though they are still closed, are now close together on the front of the face and the ears are in their final position. Eyelashes are fairly well-developed and hair is growing on your baby's head.
Your baby's movements are becoming more restricted now as she fills up the uterus more. Cartwheels and somersaults inside the amniotic sac are no longer possible, but she can still hold the umbilical cord and touch and feel around her. Though your baby is already living in tight quarters in the amniotic sac, she will soon have even less room to move around.
Her vital organs are now quite mature. However, since the lungs are not yet fully formed, your baby would have breathing problems if born prematurely at this stage.
Your baby is becoming increasingly conscious of the world outside and may feel startled when you are startled.
Your baby may alternate between having very active and very calm periods.
Your baby may have facial expressions such as frowning, squinting and pursing of the lips.

Week 23
Your Baby Week 23
Your baby now weighs almost 1 lb (450g) and measures about 8 inches (20cm) from crown to rump.
She is becoming plumper as her fat is being laid down at a high rate, but her skin is still wrinkled and reddish. The wrinkled and loose appearance of her skin is due to the faster production of her skin than the fat that fills it out. The reddish appearance of her skin is due to the deposition of pigment as her skin loses its translucent appearance.
Your baby can kick and punch vigorously by now, but she may also be gently feeling the umbilical cord and rubbing her hands and face against the inside membrane of the amniotic sac that holds her.
She is still swallowing amniotic fluid (which provides an important nutritional supplement to the nutrition she gets from you via the placenta) and is passing some of it as urine. The swallowing of the amniotic fluid may cause your baby to get the hiccups and you may even be able to feel this as her body jumps inside yours.
The lanugo hair on your baby's body may turn darker at this time.

Week 22
The baby is kicking and everyday the baby's kicks seem stronger and stronger. Its very comforting to be able to feel the baby kick.
I am really excited for the next few months to fly by and to be able to hold our little bundle of joy and our last bundle of joy!
Your Baby Week 22
Your baby measures about 7.6 inches (19cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 12.25 ounces (350g).
Eyebrows have developed.
His digestive system now functions in a rudimentary manner. Undigested amniotic fluid passes into his bowel which he will eventually excrete after birth. Your baby can suck and swallow and may even suck his thumb.
Your baby's senses are developing, especially his sense of touch. He can feel his face and stroke his arms and legs.

Its amazing to me the difference in the 3 pregnancies i've experienced. When i got pregnant with Bethany it seemed as though time went by sooo slowly. I think it was about the slowest ive ever felt time go LOL. the only thing that seems to have gone by fast with bethany is the last 4.5 years!
With hailey it was going by fast then about 30 wks or so i was put on bedrest. and the next 6 weeks went by sooo slowly...and again the last 2.5yrs for Hailey have just passed by so fast.
now with this baby time is flying by. im 6.5 months along now and i feel the clock ticking by. With the other girls i felt like i had al the time to get ready for the baby but now i feel like i have no time. maybe its cuz im busy with the other 2 kids.
so i need to get hailey's room completely ready for the baby to move in and share. I told chris that hailey and the baby can share for a while it'll be a couple years b4 the baby would have to move out if its a boy.
anyhow blah just typing..hehehehe

im not sleeping much at night right now. We have some new neighbors moving in and they only do it after midnight which sucks cuz the dogs are barking all night long! Between the dogs, pee'n and moving wrong and having my tummy muscles hurt i wonder when i'll sleep again LOL. anyhow we are stoked to be going to set up our pool, im happy to cuz i love the times we share in our pool having fun as a family! well i've been keeping an eye on my bp and its slowly starting to rise so that is not good. im hoping i can hold off on the bedrest until atleast july... im hoping mid july 32-33 weeks and start off august @ 34 weeks and only have to lay around for a couple more weeks to have a healthy full term baby!anyhow im going to get off of here now so ican put the pool up and stuff...
Thursday, May 7, 2009

Just put almost everything im going to need on layaway @ kmart. I have tons of boy stuff that i have been getting from friends etc so i've put some girl stuff on layaway and i figure if it turns out to be a boy i can return the stuff but atleast i'll have the stuff if its a girl. 1pk of onsies for 0-3, 3-6, 6-9 months and a couple outfits and a couple blankets i can exchange for blue if its a boy, some bottles & pacafiers and a monitor so i can hear the baby cry in whichever room im in. I also have 2 presents 1 for bethany and one 4 hailey from the new baby. they will get it in the hospital after the baby is born.
All i really need to get now is the Diaper bag and i have that picked out and the crib set.

bethany's Summer School
Bethany is going to be in summer school :) she is so excited!!! The bus will pick her up between 12:00 and 12:15 and take her to pierce for school. She'll either be dropped off between 4:15 & 4:30 @ buttermilk acres or Chris will be picking her up on the days he gets off work ontime. Im so happy that she is so excited about the chance to go. I'm glad she is in the afternoon class cuz she is much calmer in the am then she is in the afternoon :) it'll be easier 4 me to have her in the Pm class this summer. She'll be in preschool til the end of my 32nd week so hopefully that will be helpful in keeping my bp down. Hailey does better when she has an afternoon nap. So this will be perfect for us. Bethany and hailey can play in the back yard b4 it gets to hot and she'll be in the classroom during the hot part of the day. I only hope the preschool van is air conditioned LOL and the classroom is to i hope.
anyhow she is stoked...dancing around the livingroom im in summer school im in summer school.

Week 21~ Month 6
Your Baby Week 21
Your baby weighs about 10.5 ounces (300g) and measures about 7.2 inches (18cm) from crown to rump. He still moves about freely in amniotic fluid.
Your baby may respond to external sounds, such as the music you are listening to or your voice.
Your baby has developed some red blood cells already. The white blood cells that your baby needs to fight infections are being manufactured.
He is developing taste buds on his tongue.
His digestive system is sufficiently advanced to absorb water and sugar from the amniotic fluid that he swallows and pass it to his large bowel.
Your baby has lanugo hair on his forehead and upper lip and his eyebrows are thickening.
Vernix (the waxy substance that covers and protects your baby's skin) accumulates on your baby's eyebrows.
Your baby's eyes are still sealed shut.
Your baby continues to grow and develop and his kicking is getting stronger now.

1/2 Way there
Well we are stoked :) we made it to the 1/2 way point!! even more exciting for us is we are now about to be 6 months on Monday and my blood pressure has stayed low. My 1st goal was to make it to 6 months without having a problem with my blood pressure. Our 2nd goal is going to be much smaller then 6 months :) Our next goal is to make it to the 8th month/3rd trimester which happens around June 29th. After that our goal will be to make it to 33 weeks which is July 17th. Then to be able to make it to 37 weeks after that. Im not sure if we will even make it that far but that is our hope. Our hope is to NOT need to deliever the baby b4 37 weeks. But im sure we prolly will... Things with this baby seem to be WAY easier then they were with the other 2. I didnt have any of the "negative" symptoms of pregnancy. I was never sick, still im not up pee'n all night long etc. so its been pretty easy so far so we are hopin we wont have any of the complications we have had with the past 2 kids :) anyhow im having problems stayin connected to the internet...dumb mediacom so im going to stop typing now b4 i lose myblog :) hehehe see ya monday for my next weeks blog

Our Dr Apt on 4/28
We had our dr apt today. It went pretty good :) my blood pressure was 110/70 which was good to see :) The baby had a heart beat of 160 which to hear the heart beat is also good hehehehe. i've had some anxiety lately cuz i dont really feel the baby kick. I really cant wait til the baby is strong enough to kick and have me feel it!!
The dr said my thyroid levels are at .73 and its suppose to be .93 so he upped my dosage and he said if the new dosage makes me all jittery to call and they will lower it. makes me laff cuz i've been thru this b4 :) when i was first having to take them sometimes i'd feel sooooo jittery it was hard to think. but anyhow getting back to the baby the hard drive on the ultrasound machine is broken but it should be fixed by friday. Now if it is we are going back in for an ultrasound on friday if its not we will be going back in sometime next week for a ultrasound.
Our next apt is 5/29 @ 8:00am I will be 24 weeks and 5 days.

Week 20
Wow this is the last week of my 5th month! I know I say this alot but it sure is amazing ;)So anyhow this week we have a dr apt on tueday 4/28 @ 415pm. This weekend we are going to the zoo we are excited but i think bethany is even more cuz sesame street will be there :)
Your Baby Week 20
Your baby weighs about 9 ounces (260g) and measures about 5.6 to 6.4 inches (14 to 16cm) from crown to rump.
Her skin is thickening and developing multiple layers- the epidermis and the dermis, the deeper layer where it will form fat. Your baby is now also developing a waxy protective coating for her skin called vernix caseosa. The vernix protects your baby's skin which is continuously submersed in amniotic fluid. Vernix, which is particularly thick around the eyebrows is held in place by tiny downy hairs called lanugo.
Your baby can now grip with her fists. Toenails and scalp hair are growing.
At this point, it may be possible to determine the baby's sex by ultrasound, if the baby cooperates, but the ultrasound technician will rarely guarantee the sex based on the ultrasound results as mistakes are sometimes made at an early ultrasound.
You can hear the baby's heartbeat with a Doppler ultrasound device or a stethoscope.

Week 19
Your Baby Week 19
Your baby measures about 5.2 to 6 inches (13-15cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 7 ounces (200g).
The buds for the permanent teeth are forming behind those that have already developed for the first teeth.
Your baby's nervous system and brain development continue at a spectacular pace. By this week, your baby's motor neurons, which connect muscle to the brain, have grown into place so that your baby can consciously direct her movements. Millions of neurons inside your baby's brain are growing and forming connections and the nerves in her body are being covered in a fatty substance called myelin.
Your baby's ears are now placed on the sides of her head and her limbs are now in proportion. Your baby's tiny foot is just one inch long, but is in perfect proportion to the rest of her leg.
Your baby can hear your voice and recognize it.

Random thoughts

I am stoked :) I have set up txt blogging now when im in the hospital I can blog about things and everyone will see whats going on!! So now i can post pics to myspace and flickr when the baby is born :) so i've narrowed down the nursery stuff between 2 options for both sexes. you can see them here please feel free to look and comment on which set you like the best for both sexes.
Im still looking for a thin but tall type of dresser/chest whatever its called that has like 4 or 5 drawers in it cuz i need it for the baby to use for "sams" clothing. I also need to get some plastic storage tubs so i can label them and seperate the kids stuff.
Other then that I am pretty set on whats needed for the baby. I cant buy the nursery stuff until the baby is born. As we wont know the sex until then.
So I do know this... I have had all my children so far in the 8th month. so Im thinking I have 2.5-3.5 months left. In 2 weeks we'll be 6 months along. My goal is to make it 17 more weeks past my 6th month. that would put me at 37 weeks. So far my bp has been good and that has been a relief. But it started up @ 6 months with hailey and it started @ 33 with bethany. So now anytime now is when it starts acting up so I am now taking it easy. I have one more active weekend planned and that is @ the beginning of my 6 months. We are going to the zoo but Im planning on taking LOTS of rest breaks. Chris is getting very "stressed" i suppose you would say..he really worries bout me and the baby at this point in our pregnancy. Im hoping that if it does have to act up that the meds will help control it.
anyhow keep up with our baby's development here and posted pics of upcomming ultrasounds on flickr....lots of love to ya'll

Week 18
Your Baby Week 18
Your baby weighs about 5.25 ounces (150g) and now measures 5 to 5.6 inches (12.5 to 14cm) from crown to rump. He is practicing breathing by gulping amniotic fluid into its lungs. This helps the lung's development so they will function at birth. Your baby may also be sucking his thumb.
Meconium is present in your baby's bowels. There is hair present on your baby's scalp and sweat glands are developing.
Your baby is becoming more sensitive to the outside world and is moving around, kicking and punching. As there is still plenty of space in your uterus, your baby can move around a lot, sitting cross-legged, reclining or even turning somersaults!
He can probably hear by now as the ossicles (the bones that pass sound to the inner ear) have hardened and the portion of the brain that receives signals from the brain is under development. Your baby is getting used to the sound of your heartbeat and blood passing through the umbilical cord, but may be startled by loud noises. Your baby is aware of some things in the outside world, including sounds and light. If you let the sun shine on your belly, your baby may be able to perceive a warm red glow.
A mid-pregnancy ultrasound may be performed between now and 22 weeks to assess your baby's growth and development and to verify the due date. If the baby is in the right position, the ultrasound may even be able to determine the baby's sex.

Week 17~ 5th Month
Well, its an awesome day :) we move into the 5th month. Chris and I were talking last night and we are just amazed its already the 5th month. Since we have NEVER made it to the 9th month we are estimating 3.5 to 4 months left. Hopefully we can make it atleast to the 9th month :)
We dont have alot of plans for the 5th month. We see the Dr on April 28th @ 4:15pm. I am looking forward to hearing the babies heart beat and maybe even getting a glimpse into my belly :)
On April 10th we are going to a baseball game and we are going to get free dodger blankets :) which will be placed in the baby bag 4 the hospital cuz mine is going str8 to the baby. I figure we can use it in the Hospital since hopefully by then we'll be looking @ a playoff spot for them.
April 17th we are going to the zoo. I was going to do it the same weekend as the baseball game but I really dont want to overload myself with to much activitie on one weekend as we are trying to keep my bp down. @ 6 months with hailey we went to the fair and walked around all day then wound up on bedrest cuz of my bp.. soooo not cool! So we'll do things just in small doses. I figure when we go to the zoo we will take LOTS of breaks.
So those are our plans for this month. Aside from the usual trying to get ready for baby. I am not one that likes to be finished the week the baby is born. I like to be done about a month b4 :) call me a weirdo its ok LOL
anyhow im going to stop blabbing....take care
Your Baby Week 17
Your baby now weighs more than the surrounding placenta. She measures about 4.4 to 4.8 inches (about 11 to 12cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 3.5 ounces (100g). She is positioned halfway between your pubic bone and your navel.
Fat, which is important for your baby's metabolism and heat production is beginning to form around this time.
The placenta, which will weigh more than a pound at full term, is also developing rapidly. It is now a large and well-established network of blood vessels responsible for exchanging nutrients and waste to support your baby, the lungs are beginning to exhale amniotic fluid, and the circulatory and urinary systems are working. Hair continues to grow on baby's head and his eyebrows and eyelashes are filling in. You're showing more, with an obvious swelling in your lower abdomen. A five- to 10-pound weight gain is typical by now. You also may be noticing an increase in appetite.

Our Weekend

We had a very busy weekend. Our weekend started off as we had to attend the funeral for chris's grandpa. It was very sad but at the same time it was happy. I like funerals that are not all about crying but also remembering the life that was. He was a super guy and I always enjoyed seeing him. I am truely going to miss him. It was nice meeting some of Suzie's family and see'n the ones i have already met again.
Then on sunday we went to the Kern River Brewing Company for a birthday lunch for him :) much thanks to his parents who kindly bought us lunch.

Today's Dr apt
Well we went to the dr today... The baby was huge in the U/S. It had a big head LOL was kicking and moving like crazy.... I can see the next few months are going to be long ones LOL. The baby had a heart beat in the 170's. I love going to the dr and seeing and hearing the baby!! Both girls were soo stoked to see the baby. Bethany was holding the U/S the whole way back and when she got in the van she gave the pic a kiss and said i love you baby :) warms my heart to hear that.

anyhow our next ob apt is 4/28 @ 4:15pm

16 Weeks .... Only 21 Weeks Left...
Yes yes yes I know it says only 21 weeks left :) that is cuz we are hopefully going to have the baby @ 37 weeks and 5 Days. That way the baby will continue to be born on the 27th like all of our other children and will be born in August!!
so with that being said...hehehehe we are on to the count down :) I am hoping that we will make it to 37 weeks. If so I think that would be a record for pregnancies that I have had!!! We are heading into our last week of our 4th month. Next week we will be in our 5th month already. Its AMAZING how fast time really does fly. This week though we have a dr apt for our 4th Month check up.... We are excited to hear the babies heart beat as we are with all our kids...its a nice comfort to hear it and know its still beating...
Here is what it says bout our little bundle of joy for week 16....
Your Baby Week 16
Fine hair called lanugo covers your baby, who now measures about 4.3 to 4.6 inches (10.8 to 11.6cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 2.8 ounces (80g).
Fingernails are well formed and the arms and legs may be seen moving on an ultrasound. Your baby already has his own unique fingerprint pattern!
Your baby can hold his head erect and he can also make faces with his slightly developed facial muscles. Your baby may practice squinting, frowning and opening and closing his mouth.
the nervous system is functioning and muscles are responding to stimulation from your baby's brain. You may be able to hear the baby's heartbeat in the doctor's office. Your uterus has grown significantly by now and weighs about 8.75 ounces. Within the next few weeks you may start to feel your baby move, called "quickening." It's often described as a gas bubble or subtle fluttering movement. As it happens more regularly, you'll know it's your baby. There are other physiological changes happening in your body. Increased blood volume to support your growing fetus may cause nosebleeds, and veins may become more apparent. Because your uterus is shifting, you may not have to urinate as much
Your baby's bones have enough calcium deposits to show on an X-ray. If your baby is female, her ovaries will be in place in her pelvis and more than five million ova (some of which may be fertilized to become your own grandchildren in another generation!) have formed.

Bethany
so bethany asked if she can share her room with the baby. She said to me when the baby wakes up I can take care of the baby...I can feed "him" I can change "him" and i can take care of "him" she has got to be the SWEETEST big sibling EVER! I know she'll be the best big sister to our baby! she has already been superb for Hailey.
anyhow I just wanted to share that with you all!! :)

Week 15
(Officially tomorrow but posting it today)
Your Baby Week 15
Your baby measures about 3.7 to 4.1 inches (about 9.3 to 10.3cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 1.75 ounces (50g).
Your baby's bones still consist of soft cartilage but they are now beginning to harden and the development of the bones and the marrow continues. Her ears are developing into a more recognizable shape and any hair already on the head and brows will become thicker.
Your baby may already be sucking her thumb.
Her skin is thin and translucent and all her blood vessels can be seen through it.
Her hair continues to grow on her head and her eyebrows. If her hair will be dark, the follicles will start to generate pigment to color her hair.
Your baby is moving more now and is becoming increasingly flexible. She can bend her arms at the elbows and wrists and she can make tiny fists with her hands.

Your Baby Week 14
* This Actually Happens Monday But I Posted It Today Instead*
Your Baby Week 14
Your baby measures about 3.2 to 3.5 inches (7.6 to 8.9cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 0.9 ounces (25g). Your baby is now nourished by the placenta.
His face is developing and his cheeks and the bridge of his nose are appearing. His ears are moving from the sides of his neck to higher on his head and his eyes are moving closer together. Your baby's external genitals are now distinct and may be recognized on an ultrasound. Your baby will move away from stimuli near your tummy, such as noise and light.
Your baby's eyebrows have formed and a small amount of hair, called lanugo, has appeared all over his body. Lanugo, which will be shed before birth and replaced with the hairs with which your baby will be born, is thought to have a protective function.
Insulin is present in your baby's pancreas. Some bones may be well outlined. Your baby's thyroid gland, already developed by this week, begins to make hormones.
Baby boys begin to develop the prostate gland at this time and the ovaries of baby girls descend from the abdomen into the pelvis.

Just MISC stuff bout us
Well as we enter the last few months of school Bethany is showing so much improvement in so many area's. I love watching her come home from school soo excited about all the new things she is learning!!! I love seeing her enthusiasm about learning! She told me this am that she wants to go to school EVERYDAY. LOL I said to her just keep that in mind as you grow.
Hailey is really starting to come into her own also. She has learned to say "bethany" and has also learned how to open her own bedroom door!! Now the task is to get her to stay in there when she wakes up in the middle of the night LOL. Next Flex weekend we are going to be starting the potty training. We would like to try and get it done b4 the baby is born. It would just be easier for her when she starts preschool to be potty trained also. She will be starting preschool @ 3 years old. I was thinking of making her wait til January but I think i'll go ahead and start her in Nov. She could use the extra few weeks of school.
Today we are going to go do a bit of shopping and then we are going to have a picnic in the park for dinner. Chris is going to be gone with his mom so we (the girls and I) have decided tonight would be a good night for a picnic in the park.
So far with baby mouw things are ok. Baby mouw is bout to be 14 weeks LMP on Monday. We are so excited to be having our last child but its kinda sad at the same time.
We are hoping we can keep my bp under control, I am still hoping that since we'll be 37 weeks the week of Aug 24 im hoping we can have the baby that week or the following monday when I turn 38 weeks. Either way im really going to push for an Aug baby!! It will be nice to have a kid born in the summer where outdoor parties are much more easier to have.
We are about 7 weeks away from the time we could find out the sex of baby mouw and still have not changed our mind about finding out the sex. As much as I hate waiting its kinda neat waiting and wondering what the sex is.
Some current tasks im going to be doing over the next few months is this: im going to paint bethany's room ( i'll show you the paint colors after i pick them up)
Putting a fresh new coat of paint on the crib. Just basically going to paint it white again but its been sitting in the shed and its dinged up so its going to just get a paint job. In september while chris is off work for the new baby we are going to paint the room for either a boy or for hailey.
chris is going to be fixing the ceiling in the kitchen by the cooler.
As im typing this blog out im watching the girls play together like they always do. They play so well together its amazing to me. The way the girls get along is the way i have always wanted to get along with my brother. I hope that as they grow they continue to be BESTFRIENDS. Cuz that is what they are now!!!
well blah i'll leave ya'll alone now hehehehe. I have a blog set up that is all about the baby.
http://mouwkids.blogspot.com/ it will be up until a few months after the baby is born and then this blog that you are reading right now will be the only blog with info on the kids. But I'll post when its the last one ya'll will know. This blog has a list of things I have collected for the baby and things i still need. its basically a list for me. I figured if i write it on paper it'll get lost or thrown away. If i blog it its not going any where so i'll always have it around :O)
anyhow ya'll have a wonderful weekend and hope you are doing great!!!

2nd Trimester...Week 13
Your Baby Week 13
Your baby is about the size of a peach and is growing rapidly. Crown to rump, your baby measures 2.6 to 3.1 inches (6.5 to 7.8cm) and weighs 0.5 to 0.7 ounces (14 to 20g).
Your baby's legs are longer than her arms and her skin is red and transparent. Her eyelids are fused together and won't open for about four more months. Her arms are long enough to reach her mouth and she may begin to place her thumb in her mouth. Her sucking reflex, however, is not yet developed.
The tissue that will become your baby's bones is being laid out, especially around her head and her arms and legs. Some ribs may be distinguished at this time. The nose and chin are more prominent now.
Your baby will begin to practice breathing in the next few weeks as her chest rises and falls in mock breathing motions. She will also swallow small amounts of amniotic fluid which will be passed as urine.
Your placenta is providing all of your baby's needs for nutrition, oxygen and waste disposal, though the amniotic fluid will become more important later on.
All major components of the body are formed and now must grow and mature. From now on, your baby's development will consist primarily of organ maturity and growth and body refinement.

to much @ one time
I feel bad for chris and his family. On sunday we got a txt message saying that his grandpa's body was starting to fail on him and he could go @ anytime.
On tuesday chris comes home from work and was like dude my dad is on his way to la to have eye surgery. I guess he went to the dr and the dr was like you need to have eye surgery right away.
On wed Chris gets this txt message or phone call not sure which saying that Poppo his other grandpa fell and broke some bones in his face and that his brain was bleeding and the next 48 hours are critical. Then we get this txt message a little later saying his other grandpa's breathing has begun to get shallow and now its really not going to be much longer.
I just feel bad for chris cuz its alot of bad all at one time!!! so we might have to take a trip to Oregon and that wont be fun :( anyhow I hope that things work out for the way that would be best for his family and the 2 grandpa's!!!

Week 12
Week 12 Congratulations, Danielle! You're 12 Weeks Pregnant. Your baby now measures about 2.5 inches from crown to rump and weighs between three-tenths of an ounce and half an ounce. It is fully formed, from tooth buds to toenails. Your baby's job now is to continue to grow big and strong. With the most critical time in your baby's development behind you, the chance of miscarriage drops considerably after this week. Nausea and energy start to improve but occasional headaches, dizziness and fatigue from hormone changes may be present. If it's your first baby, you still could be wearing loose-fitting clothes, but if you've had other pregnancies, you most likely are back in maternity clothes. The typical weight gain by now is about three to five pounds. Fathers-to-be might also experience pregnancy symptoms, called couvade or "hatching," during the third month and at delivery, including nausea, abdominal pain, appetite changes and weight gain.
The end of the twelfth week of pregnancy marks the end of the first trimester. Your baby's fingers and toes have separated and are getting longer. Your baby can open and close its mouth and drinks amniotic fluid which it passes out as urine. Its head is becoming more rounded, though it is still large in proportion to its body. It has eyelids.
You can now hear your baby's heartbeat with a Doppler Ultrasound device!
Your baby continues to grow rapidly and has doubled in size in the last three weeks alone.
The face is beginning to look more human, and all body structures are present with a few refinements still in progress. Fingernails and toenails begin to develop this week.
Your baby's muscles are sufficiently developed to allow for involuntary movements at this time. The messages which control your baby's movements are sent from the spine, rather than the brain, which is not yet sufficiently developed.

Today
I am pretty excited cuz today we made the 1st of 60 carpayments on our van :) as Chris said 1 down 59 to go LOL. It was awesome that we were able to buy that van and its going to be perfect for our family as the kids grow up!!!
I was also thinking about bethany how big she is getting. She makes her own sandwhiches, she makes her own bowl of cereal in the am and she even knows how to microwave her own french toast sticks. Its just amazing how fast they grow up. The other day we drove over to chris's sisters new house and we drove past the baseball field and bethany was soo excited. She said next year when im bigger I can go there. Which she is going to do @ 5 years old. She'll be playing tball and she is sooo excited to do that!!!
Hailey is doing good and learning how to use words for what she wants. I Just hope she gets it before we start her in preschool next year!!! Its going to be nice sending Bethany & Hailey off to preschool and I will be able to be @ home with the baby and enjoy getting to know that baby.
On Monday we turn 12 weeks LMP. This will be the last week of our 1st trimester!!! which will be a relief :) We are super excited about the new baby but scared also. Wondering when / if my bp will rise and hoping the baby can stay in til 37 wks!!! Still have a plan to NOT find out the sex until we the baby is born. Its hard though sometimes cuz I am not a very patient person and I normally hate suprises LOL but i think it would be neat to wait!!!
My plan and I know things dont always go as planned but my plan is to have the nurses put a diaper on the baby b4 they open the blinds on the nursery and make sure any sign of the babies sex isnt present. then after I get out of recovery chris & I will take the girls and have the baby in the room and we will personally introduce the baby to the girls and let them hug & kiss then we will invite the grandparents in and the 5 of us will tell the 4 grandparents what the sex of the baby is and the name. I know its going to annoy the grandparents to have to wait to know for about 2hrs after the baby is born but with me having a csection I have missed all of that with the other 2 kids and since this is our last one I wanna be there for it!!! I really dont think that is to much to ask. anyhow im going to stop blabbing now LOL i'll blog again on monday
