Just MISC stuff bout us

Well as we enter the last few months of school Bethany is showing so much improvement in so many area's. I love watching her come home from school soo excited about all the new things she is learning!!! I love seeing her enthusiasm about learning! She told me this am that she wants to go to school EVERYDAY. LOL I said to her just keep that in mind as you grow.
Hailey is really starting to come into her own also. She has learned to say "bethany" and has also learned how to open her own bedroom door!! Now the task is to get her to stay in there when she wakes up in the middle of the night LOL. Next Flex weekend we are going to be starting the potty training. We would like to try and get it done b4 the baby is born. It would just be easier for her when she starts preschool to be potty trained also. She will be starting preschool @ 3 years old. I was thinking of making her wait til January but I think i'll go ahead and start her in Nov. She could use the extra few weeks of school.
Today we are going to go do a bit of shopping and then we are going to have a picnic in the park for dinner. Chris is going to be gone with his mom so we (the girls and I) have decided tonight would be a good night for a picnic in the park.
So far with baby mouw things are ok. Baby mouw is bout to be 14 weeks LMP on Monday. We are so excited to be having our last child but its kinda sad at the same time.
We are hoping we can keep my bp under control, I am still hoping that since we'll be 37 weeks the week of Aug 24 im hoping we can have the baby that week or the following monday when I turn 38 weeks. Either way im really going to push for an Aug baby!! It will be nice to have a kid born in the summer where outdoor parties are much more easier to have.
We are about 7 weeks away from the time we could find out the sex of baby mouw and still have not changed our mind about finding out the sex. As much as I hate waiting its kinda neat waiting and wondering what the sex is.
Some current tasks im going to be doing over the next few months is this: im going to paint bethany's room ( i'll show you the paint colors after i pick them up)
Putting a fresh new coat of paint on the crib. Just basically going to paint it white again but its been sitting in the shed and its dinged up so its going to just get a paint job. In september while chris is off work for the new baby we are going to paint the room for either a boy or for hailey.
chris is going to be fixing the ceiling in the kitchen by the cooler.
As im typing this blog out im watching the girls play together like they always do. They play so well together its amazing to me. The way the girls get along is the way i have always wanted to get along with my brother. I hope that as they grow they continue to be BESTFRIENDS. Cuz that is what they are now!!!
well blah i'll leave ya'll alone now hehehehe. I have a blog set up that is all about the baby.
http://mouwkids.blogspot.com/ it will be up until a few months after the baby is born and then this blog that you are reading right now will be the only blog with info on the kids. But I'll post when its the last one ya'll will know. This blog has a list of things I have collected for the baby and things i still need. its basically a list for me. I figured if i write it on paper it'll get lost or thrown away. If i blog it its not going any where so i'll always have it around :O)
anyhow ya'll have a wonderful weekend and hope you are doing great!!!

2nd Trimester...Week 13

Your Baby Week 13
Your baby is about the size of a peach and is growing rapidly. Crown to rump, your baby measures 2.6 to 3.1 inches (6.5 to 7.8cm) and weighs 0.5 to 0.7 ounces (14 to 20g).
Your baby's legs are longer than her arms and her skin is red and transparent. Her eyelids are fused together and won't open for about four more months. Her arms are long enough to reach her mouth and she may begin to place her thumb in her mouth. Her sucking reflex, however, is not yet developed.
The tissue that will become your baby's bones is being laid out, especially around her head and her arms and legs. Some ribs may be distinguished at this time. The nose and chin are more prominent now.
Your baby will begin to practice breathing in the next few weeks as her chest rises and falls in mock breathing motions. She will also swallow small amounts of amniotic fluid which will be passed as urine.
Your placenta is providing all of your baby's needs for nutrition, oxygen and waste disposal, though the amniotic fluid will become more important later on.
All major components of the body are formed and now must grow and mature. From now on, your baby's development will consist primarily of organ maturity and growth and body refinement.
