Random thoughts

I am stoked :) I have set up txt blogging now when im in the hospital I can blog about things and everyone will see whats going on!! So now i can post pics to myspace and flickr when the baby is born :) so i've narrowed down the nursery stuff between 2 options for both sexes. you can see them here please feel free to look and comment on which set you like the best for both sexes.
Im still looking for a thin but tall type of dresser/chest whatever its called that has like 4 or 5 drawers in it cuz i need it for the baby to use for "sams" clothing. I also need to get some plastic storage tubs so i can label them and seperate the kids stuff.
Other then that I am pretty set on whats needed for the baby. I cant buy the nursery stuff until the baby is born. As we wont know the sex until then.
So I do know this... I have had all my children so far in the 8th month. so Im thinking I have 2.5-3.5 months left. In 2 weeks we'll be 6 months along. My goal is to make it 17 more weeks past my 6th month. that would put me at 37 weeks. So far my bp has been good and that has been a relief. But it started up @ 6 months with hailey and it started @ 33 with bethany. So now anytime now is when it starts acting up so I am now taking it easy. I have one more active weekend planned and that is @ the beginning of my 6 months. We are going to the zoo but Im planning on taking LOTS of rest breaks. Chris is getting very "stressed" i suppose you would say..he really worries bout me and the baby at this point in our pregnancy. Im hoping that if it does have to act up that the meds will help control it.
anyhow keep up with our baby's development here and posted pics of upcomming ultrasounds on flickr....lots of love to ya'll

Week 18

Your Baby Week 18
Your baby weighs about 5.25 ounces (150g) and now measures 5 to 5.6 inches (12.5 to 14cm) from crown to rump. He is practicing breathing by gulping amniotic fluid into its lungs. This helps the lung's development so they will function at birth. Your baby may also be sucking his thumb.

Meconium is present in your baby's bowels. There is hair present on your baby's scalp and sweat glands are developing.

Your baby is becoming more sensitive to the outside world and is moving around, kicking and punching. As there is still plenty of space in your uterus, your baby can move around a lot, sitting cross-legged, reclining or even turning somersaults!

He can probably hear by now as the ossicles (the bones that pass sound to the inner ear) have hardened and the portion of the brain that receives signals from the brain is under development. Your baby is getting used to the sound of your heartbeat and blood passing through the umbilical cord, but may be startled by loud noises. Your baby is aware of some things in the outside world, including sounds and light. If you let the sun shine on your belly, your baby may be able to perceive a warm red glow.
A mid-pregnancy ultrasound may be performed between now and 22 weeks to assess your baby's growth and development and to verify the due date. If the baby is in the right position, the ultrasound may even be able to determine the baby's sex.
